We've provided step-by-step instructions to install SimpleShortcuts in Excel 2007. If you would like to view a tutorial for prior versions of Excel, here is the best guide that we could find (we'll provide a tutorial later): How to Manually Install an Excel Add-in
Step 1: Download a free copy of SimpleShortcuts. We recommend that you download the "Windows installer" exe version if you are unfamiliar with how to manually install an Excel add-in.
Step 2: Run the windows installer by clicking "Run" on the download prompt or "Save" the file to your computer and double-click on the saved file. If you are prompted with a security warning, click the run or allow option.
Step 3: Click "Next" to begin the installation, as shown here:

Step 4: After clicking "Next" again, you will be given the option to edit the installlation location. It is very important that SimpleShortcuts is installed in your computer's Microsoft AddIns folder. Please check the path and click "Next", as shown here:

Step 5: Click "Install" to copy SimpleShortcuts to your Microsoft AddIns folder, as shown here:

Step 6: After clicking "Install", you will be prompted with some instructions to enable SimpleShortcuts in Excel. You can ignore these instructions, as we are about to go through them here. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to exit the Windows installer.
Step 7: Open Microsoft Excel and click the Office button in the top left corner, as shown here:

Step 8: Click the "Excel Options" button at the bottom right of the menu, as shown here:

Step 9: Select "Add-Ins" from the Excel Options menu and then select "Go..." next to "Manage: Excel Add-ins" at the bottom of the menu, as shown here:

Step 10: If you see SimpleShortcuts on the "Add-Ins available" list, make sure it is selected with a check mark. If you do not see SimpleShortcuts on the list, click "Browse" as shown here:

Step 11: Select the SimpleShortcuts add-in file from your computer's Microsoft AddIns folder.
Step 12: Verify that SimpleShortcuts is now checked and then click "OK" to return to Excel, as shown here:

Step 13: Press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S while in Excel to display the SimpleShortcuts Keyboard Shortcut Settings menu, as shown below:
